Important Information for Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Please read carefully before requesting a return, refund, or replacement:

  • Initial Contact Required: Contact us via email (preferred) or WhatsApp with clear photos/videos showing the product issue.

  • Warehouse Address: After verification, we will provide the warehouse address for returning the product.

  • Customer Shipping Costs: Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Use a trackable shipping service. Lapalfa.com is not liable for lost or damaged items in transit.

  • Inspection Requirement: Returns, exchanges, or refunds are processed only after warehouse inspection confirms eligibility, condition, and correctness.

  • Original Condition: Products must be returned in their original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact, unless defective.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Consumables, gift cards, promotional items, power cables, and customized/personalized products are not eligible.

  • Product-Specific Rules: Warranty periods, return timelines, and conditions vary by product type (see below).

Before returning any product, please follow these steps:

  1. Email (Preferred): Send an email to support@lapalfa.com with:

    • Your order number

    • Photos/videos of the product showing the issue

    • A brief description of the problem

  2. WhatsApp (Optional): Message 9473317276 with the same details above.

    • Tip: There is a WhatsApp button on our website you can use for quick access.

    • Email is preferred for faster, documented processing.

  3. Warehouse Address: After verification, we will provide the warehouse address for sending the product back.

  4. Return Confirmation: Only after you contact us and get confirmation can you send the product for inspection, replacement, or refund.


Shipping Policy

  • Free Shipping: Orders of ₹599 or more qualify for free shipping.

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends & holidays).

  • Tracking: After dispatch, customers receive an email with a tracking number. Allow 48 hours for tracking updates.

  • Delivery Time: Parcels are delivered within 5–8 working days depending on location.

  • Shipping Charges: Orders below ₹599 incur shipping charges of ₹60–150 at checkout.


Product-Specific Policies

1. Laptop Battery – Replacement, Exchange & Refund Policy

Replacement / Exchange Rules

  • Eligible if the battery exhibits any of the following faults during the warranty period:

    • Backup less than 30 minutes

    • Not charging

    • Percentage not increasing

    • Fails to hold charge

    • Any other functional fault affecting normal laptop use

  • Warranty period: Internal → 6 months; External → 1 year

  • Process:

    • Contact us via email (preferred) or WhatsApp and provide photos/videos showing the battery issue.

    • After verification, we will provide the warehouse address.

    • Customer must pack the battery securely and send it via Indian Speed Post.

    • Shipping costs are borne by the customer.

    • Replacement will be sent after warehouse inspection, processing time 7–10 days.

Exclusions:

  • Batteries that are burnt, swollen, scratched, broken, opened, or physically damaged are not eligible

  • Until the battery reaches the warehouse and is inspected, no replacement or exchange will be processed


Refund Rules

  • Refund applicable within 10 days of delivery

  • Customer must provide photos/videos first

  • Refund processed after warehouse inspection, minus transportation + COD charges

  • Payment method: Prepaid → original method; COD → bank/UPI details

Special Cases:

  1. Wrong Battery Sent by Lapalfa: Refund or replacement allowed

  2. Customer Ordered Wrong Battery: Only replacement allowed, no refund

  3. After 10 Days: Only exchange allowed, no refund

2. Chargers / Adaptors – Replacement, Exchange & Refund

Eligibility:

  • Return allowed if unused or defective, in original packaging with tags intact.

  • Warranty covers charger/adaptor only, not power cables.

Faults Covered:

  • Not charging, charger not detected, wattage not recognized, other functional issues.

Refund:

  • Within 10 days → refund after photos/videos & warehouse inspection, minus transport & COD charges.

Replacement / Exchange:

  • Defective product → exchange or replacement.

  • After 10 days but within 1-year warranty → replacement/exchange only, no refund.

  • Photos/videos required first → warehouse inspection → replacement within 7–10 days.


3. RAM – Replacement, Exchange & Refund

Replacement / Exchange:

  • Functional faults: not detected, system crashes/errors, speed/capacity issues.

  • Warranty: 1 year from delivery.

  • Contact via email/WhatsApp → warehouse address → pack via Indian Speed Post → replacement after inspection (7–10 days).

  • Exclusions: Physically damaged or modified RAM.

Refund:

  • Within 10 days → after warehouse inspection, minus transport & COD charges.

  • After 10 days → only replacement/exchange.


4. Hard Disk / SSD – Replacement, Exchange & Refund

Replacement / Exchange:

  • Functional faults: not detected, read/write errors, speed/capacity issues.

  • Warranty: 1 year from delivery.

  • Contact via email/WhatsApp → warehouse address → pack securely → replacement after inspection (7–10 days).

  • Exclusions: Opened, scratched, burnt, or altered drives.

Refund:

  • Within 10 days → after warehouse inspection, minus transport & COD charges.

  • After 10 days → only replacement/exchange.

 

5. Refurbished Laptop – Replacement, Exchange & Refund

Please read carefully before requesting a return, refund, or replacement. This policy applies to all used, refurbished, and 2nd hand laptops sold on Lapalfa.com.


1. Return & Exchange Policy

Return/Exchange Window: 10 days from delivery.

Eligible for Return/Exchange:

  • Defective or malfunctioning laptops

  • Products not matching the description or specifications

  • Missing essential parts promised in listing

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Minor cosmetic wear (scratches, dents, faded keys)

  • Battery backup ≥1 hour (refurbished laptops standard)

  • Subjective performance complaints or buyer’s remorse

  • Windows/Office mismatch unless explicitly listed

  • Accessories unless promised

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Contact support via email (preferred) or WhatsApp with photos/videos showing the issue

  • Wait for warehouse confirmation and return instructions

  • Pack product securely in original packaging with all accessories

  • All shipping costs for return/exchange are customer’s responsibility

Restocking Fee:

  • Non-defective/change-of-mind returns → 10–15% fee

  • Defective/incorrect items → no restocking fee, but shipping costs may apply

Replacement Rules:

  • Only defective laptop is replaced

  • Accessories replaced only if defective, laptop not required

  • Same model preferred; if unavailable → different model with equivalent/better specs

    • Customer pays any price difference for upgraded/different model

  • Replacement dispatch courier charges are also customer’s responsibility

  • Replacement dispatched within 7–10 working days after warehouse inspection


2. Refund Policy

  • Refunds processed within 7–14 business days after warehouse inspection

  • Refund issued to original payment method (Prepaid) or via bank/UPI (COD)

  • Shipping, packaging, and handling costs are deducted from refund

  • Additional deductions for damage, missing components, or tampering based on market value

  • Refund requests must include clear photo/video evidence

  • Requests after 10-day window → handled under warranty, no refund


3. Warranty Policy

Activation: Warranty starts after 10-day return/exchange window

Duration: 6 months for all laptops

Coverage:

  • Hardware issues only (motherboard, SSD/RAM, screen, internal components)

  • No coverage for software issues (including WiFi/Bluetooth malfunctions), physical damage, battery wear ≥1 hour, cosmetic issues, unauthorized repair, or third-party accessories

Service Procedure:

  • Minor hardware issues → onsite/local center if serviceable

  • Major hardware issues → pickup & repair at central facility (repair time 7–14 business days)

  • Accessories → only defective accessory replaced, laptop not required

  • Replacement provided only if repair is not feasible, same or equivalent model offered

Process for Warranty Claims:

  1. Contact support via email/WhatsApp with: Order ID, phone number, issue details, photos/videos

  2. Technician assigned → repair/replacement action

  3. Resolution within repair timeline; replacement dispatched if required


4. Proof Requirement

  • Mandatory for all returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims

  • Provide photo/video at delivery showing:

    • Product condition

    • Any defect, damage, or missing items

Claims without valid proof may be delayed or denied


5. Customer Shipping Responsibility

  • All shipping costs for return, replacement, or exchange are borne by the customer

  • Customer responsible for packing to prevent damage during transit

  • Company handles verification and dispatch only


6. Refurbished Product Notice

  • All laptops are professionally refurbished and may show: light scratches, scuffs, slight dents, faded keys, or use of compatible accessories

  • These cosmetic signs are normal and not grounds for return/refund

  • Battery ≥1 hour is standard and not eligible for warranty/return
